Re: Everybody OK?
I'm mostly OK myself, but my mother passed away exactly two months ago due to the combined effects of recovering from liver surgery for cancer and a chronic heart condition. The epidemic was blessing to me as I could be with her in her final days. She was strong and kept a positive outlook up to he...

RecPit Audio Bunker? Giving us all a bad RAB? :stg: Here in Krautistan live is pretty peachey. In my county there have been no new Corona sightings over the last three weeks. I can teach face-to-face without having to endure bad smart phone audio via zoom. I have been out to a local winery on Wednes...

Re: corona virus
Boy, from outside of the US this all looks pretty grim. All the best for you guys! Here in Krautistan we have a lockdown going for almost two weeks now, and spreading rates have been going down. We seem to have gone past the maximum of spreading for this wave, but we'll have to sit out the next two ...

Re: corona virus
It's getting close here.
My wife had a case in her school, and they closed it for today and over the weekend to isolate contact persons.
We made a food schedule and shopping list for a quarantine.
As I have asthma I'm dab square in the risk group.
We'll see how this pans out.

Wait, how could I not see this thread for so long!
But no.

He has many followers, so you may get a few death threats  , but they would be from teenagers who can't afford airfare to your region. Is there a way we can do this? Do what? Airfare for warfaring strangers? Uhm... :hp: Thanks for your thoughts and efforts! All the best, the keks

Guys and gals, I made a new video sorting through my thoughts about perfection in music and how software might or might not help. And why not. HKgJOqgt2EQ I plan a lot more videos in the future and I have my process of taping sorted out enough that I'll put out content more often. If you want ...

Needs more bass, I hear no discernible kick and the vocals drown a bit.
More vocals, you can lower the acoustic on the left as well, here.
Enjoyed it, though

Re: Green Eyed Brown Haired Dancin' Girl
Boy, this acoustic guitar is doing my head in! It's much too loud and too much 10k aggressiveness. Bring it down, raise the vocals a bit and the steel guitar seems a bit too aggressively high passed! Good song, but hard to appreciate while getting your left eardrum poked in with guitar string ends t...

I have an overtly pumping acoustic guitar here, round the 0:50 mark.
Otherwise I have a bobbing head.
Edit: Just referencccing your last mix, which seems much more dynamic and powerful.
I guess you overcooked things here, to a degree.

DI electric guitar done right.
Hello guys and girls, I think I came up with an original-ish idea how to record electric guitar. You take a DI and place it between the power amp out and the speaker, and put a convolution reverb with an Impulse response of a speaker on it afterwards. This might be especially interesting for you fol...

Hi there, it's funny (well kinda) I was just watching Rick Beato in his new video about making a living in the industry in 2019: 14 minutes in he talks about the necessity of buying gear to get great tones for broke musicians. Now, he ha...

Re: You'd think it would be better....
Really? So liberals aren’t or weren’t for law and order? Or due process? That’s total nonsense spin. And that's a totally unneccessary attack, weedy. Being for law and order is neither an exclusively conservative nor an exclusive liberal token. But openly breaking law and acting against the constit...

Re: You'd think it would be better....
I find it hard to draw a clear distinction between conservative and reactionary. This is kinda the rub of it, in my opinion. Conservative meant to stand for something. Law and order, for example, which meant sticking to the actual legislation and defending due process. Or the concept of sustainabil...

Y'all! Thanks for your feedback! I brought the drums in a bit and lifted the room reverb on the main vocals about half a db. I I noticed that I considerably run into airwindows ClipOnly that I keep on my mixbuss, so I shaved off a few db in the end to not clip the mix at all. I think, I'm getting th...
