Well, thanks, guys!
It could have been worse.
It also could have been a lot better, like if I hadn't been awakened in the early morning by an orthopedist fro Kaiser who insisted that I drive up to the hospital at Vacaville that afternoon (through the parking lot that is that stretch of I80 on Friday afternoons) so they could stick a gigantic spike in my sprained wrist so they could attempt to draw fluid out to check for an infection that wasn't there, while still refusing to give me a cortisone short that would actually help treat the sprain.
But I guess that's to be expected when your birthday is Friday the 13th....
