It's a bastardisation of "sco-mo", which is the hip/cool/groovy/funky name he calls himself(!), as an abbreviation of scott morrison (refusal to capitalise intentional).

Well, the peaches continue to ripen. We shall see if the preserves come out OK or if the fruit turns out to be rotten.

Looks like the peaches were rotten.
That sure was a bust.....
